Blessing of the Fleet 2012 will be April 21 at 11:oo AM with the Flotilla Parade covered dish meal following. Stick around that evening for Tim's 50th birthday bash.
Blessing of the Fleet 2011
The 2011 Blessing of the Fleet was a great day at Beaverdam Marina.
After the boat blessing by Pastor Bocock, The national anthem was sung by Miss Emma Parham, this started the Flotilla Parade. The judges has a hard time picking winners as all boaters did a great job of decorating their boats. Number 1 pick was Debbie and Tony from A dock with their pirate ship complete with a cannon on top. After the parade we enjoyed a covered dish lunch and as always the food was great!
